Haga is owned by three siblings: Kinna, Lotta and Lasse. Our grandfather bought the farm in the thirties. The family has roots in Skillinge and Brantevik since at least 5 generations. The ancestors from Skillinge were farmers and the ones from Brantevik were fishermen. Ourselves, we have grown up on a farm outside of Linköping, but spent our summer holidays with our grandmother at Haga. Therefore, the house and the surroundings are dear to us and we hope that we can transmit this feeling to those visiting us.
In 2007 the family Jonsson created Klefstad förlag which has produced three cook books with family recipes. The recipes are mainly from Märtha’s ancestors from Skillinge and in the books are photos from Österlens’ typical landscapes. One has been translated into English, In Grandma’s Arbor – five generations of bread pastries and cakes.
